Lunar’s all-new Delta RI has been named ‘Best Luxury Tourer’ and overall ‘Tourer of The Year’ at one of the caravan industry’s most respected award ceremonies.

The four berth twin axle caravan, released as part of it’s stunning new 2016 collection, received the coveted accolades at last night’s Tourer of The Year 2016 Awards, staged by Practical Caravan Magazine at glamourous Hampton Manor, near Solihull in the West Midlands.

Judges praised the new Delta RI as ‘brilliant’, commenting that from the moment they stepped inside they knew it would be ‘a front-runner’ and stating that ‘more ‘wow’ moments were recorded inside this tourer than any other’.

In the ‘Best Luxury Tourer’ category, judges praised the Delta RI as the ‘best of the best’; a caravan that combined ‘a high level of specification and build quality, supportive furnishings, contemporary materials and attention to detail’ as well as a design, layout and luxury finish that offered as few compromises to the customer as possible.

These benefits, coupled with ‘genuine innovation and supreme practicality’ and ‘a superb central walk-through washroom and opulent rear master suite with transverse island bed’ helped the Delta RI scoop the top award of the night, and of the 2016 season; ‘Tourer of The Year 2016’.

To have received two of the most prestigious awards in our industry for achieving this is reason for everyone at Lunar to feel very proud indeed,” he added.
