Wed 24th May 2017 category - general It’s no secret that Lunar Caravans are big fans of ‘man’s four-legged best friend’, that’s why they’ve signed up as the official camping sponsor of DogFest North; the fun festival for dogs and their humans hosted by ‘Supervet’, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick. DogFest is held at Arley Hall in Cheshire on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th June 2017 and at Knebworth in Hertfordshire on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June. The shows are a paw-fect day out for all dog lovers with loads for both you and your favourite four-legged friend to see, do and learn. Get first hand advice from the experts on all aspects of your dog’s health and well-being through talks and interactive demonstrations, pick up top training tips in ‘School 4 Dogs’ and receive a free healthy weight check with tips on eating and exercise from Royal Canin (dogs only!). Amazing displays, including dog agility, doggy dancing and working dogs, will be taking place throughout each day and, if you’re feeling inspired, have a go at Dog Diving, Flyball, a fun obstacle course and the Hay Bale Race. You can stock up on every possible doggy essential in the festival village shopping area and treat your pampered pooch to a grooming session. There’s even the chance to see the ‘Supervet’ himself! Noel Fitzpatrick will be presenting his popular ‘’Noel Fitzpatrick Live’ show, sharing the moving stories behind the filming of The Supervet TV show and share the highs and lows of his clinical work helping the animals we all care about as family. Twice a day (11am and 3pm) The Big Tick Great Dog Walk will take place, giving you and your dog the chance to join thousands of others on a 2km or 4km walk and explore the beautiful grounds of Arley Hall or Knebworth House. The Lunar team will be at DogFest North showcasing some of their latest luxurious caravan and motorhome models; the perfect getaway vehicle for families who don’t want to leave their canine companion at home when they holiday.
